In the course of the Committee sitting it was declared that the Bill (Reg. No.3667) is aimed at the activity intensification of the public utility service consumers regarding in-time payment for the consumed services and financial interest in prices reduction for these services.
In the course pf the discussion, the attention was paid to the conclusion of the Central Scientific Expert Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate according to which the bill is supposed to be rejected as the implementation of the legislative initiative may cause extra unnecessary budget expenses. Moreover, the effective Law "On Public Utility services" already contains the principles regulations the procedure of in-time payment for the consumed services.
